In
2007 the Argentinian Secretariat of Tourism
offered us an opportunity to join the scheme,
meant to improve the systems used by members
of the tourism trade to run their businesses.
The
idea behind it is to aim at providing the best
possible standards of services while framing
a good reputation as a reliable country.
Membership
of the above scheme implies accepting a set
of rules which not only standardise services
but also contribute to a better and more efficient
business management.
Participants
have been monitored by the Secretariat in order
to secure compliance of the agreed rules, and
those organisations which fulfilled their duties
as expected, were acknowledged as “distinguished”
for their commitment to quality tourism and
authorised to bear their emblem on the premises.
