Las Robinias

A special, different place.

By the banks of the river Chubut, accompanied by the main canal, built by the Welsh settlers along the valley, we find Las Robinias, an organic farm.

A place where we have developed a new product to learn a bit more about ecology and organic crops, and where we not only will have a chance to see them and touch them but also to taste them.

Chickens, rabbits, lambs, calves: Barbecued, as ham, in pate or smoked , accompanied with vegetables, fruit and delicious home-made bread, tarts or cakes, baked in a wood-heated oven.

Like in the old times: without chemicals.

So far, you may come in and enjoy the day with us, do the farming tasks, collect your own vegetables for salad and sauce with domestic or wild plants.

Bake bread, learn how to make apple tart the Welsh fashion, enjoy our plantation and its atmosphere, watch domestic animals and wild birds (Californian quails, ibises, cow birds, black tyrants, etc.) and pamper “Nativo”, who hasn’t noticed his being a horse and follows people like a little puppy.

For you to keep enjoying our friendliness, we will soon open our small cabins, where you will hear the call of the crickets during the night, the lull of the water and see the glittering of the Southern Cross.
