Dear Ana,
We survived the trip, got the
treasures unpacked and got the pictures developed.
It was a wonderful experience. Having you for
our first stop was a wonderful experience.
The penguin feathers are amazing
under the microscope. I can see why they are
so warm and shed water.
We greatly appreciated the introduction
to the birds in your area. Seeing a few and
learning to recognize them gave us a start on
the ones we saw elsewhere. Ushuaia had so many
we were almost overwhelmed. Flamingos and parakeets
within sight of glaciers seemed impossible but
there they were!
The birthday party was a special
treat. Turning 65 in such good company makes
it a most memorable birthday, thanks to you
and Jorge.
Thanks again Ana, it was wonderful
and the memories will last a lifetime.
P.S. We told everybody about
the Trelew Dinosaur museum. It is truly a world
class exhibit.
Tilly
